Care Plus Transitions provides specialist accommodation and support placements to Unaccompanied Asylum Seeker Children and Young People, to enable them to understand the asylum process, accompany them to Home Office interviews, and ensure they have access to interpretation/translation, health and community welfare services.
This is a needs-based initiative, developed in recognition of the frequently distressing experiences that young people encounter during their journeys to safety.
